How to Ride A Counter-Change Of Hand (Half-Pass Zigzag)
Show Notes

A counter-change of hand is more fondly known by dressage riders as a half-pass zigzag.

It is a challenging movement that involves linking half-passes to the left and right down the center of the area.

The rider changes direction frequently crossing the centerline creating a zigzag shape, hence its nickname.

Each half-pass should cover the same amount of ground with the zigzag the same distance from the centerline on each side.
